When the temperature starts dropping and the leaves start turning, you know that change is in the air. The magic of fall is in its gradual shifts-- the way that each day it gets one degree cooler and a few more colors appear on the trees until we find ourselves in a completely different season. That’s why we think it’s the perfect time of year for a challenge that celebrates the small changes that can end up making dramatic improvements in our lives.

The Challenge

For the next 2 weeks, we want to see what small changes YOU’RE making to be a better you this season. Get inspired by the ideas below, or tackle any goal you have with simple acts of your own. We’ll be sending a prize to 1 lucky winner who completes the following:

  • Follow us on Instagram @lesserevilsnacks
  • Live and save our Instagram Fall Changes Giveaway post 
  • Tag a friend who also likes making small changes!
  • Make an Instagram post telling us the goal that you’re working towards and showing one simple change you’re making to get there
  • Tag @lesserevilsnacks in your post and use the hashtags #FallChanges and #SimpleActsCleanSnacks

Having a big idea or vision for your future can be intimidating. But by just getting started with one small action, you build the momentum to create real change. Here are just a few examples of simple ways to get started when tackling larger goals:

  • If your goal is to be more hydrated, drink just one more glass of water every day
  • To be more productive or mindful with your time, delete apps from your phone you're spending too much time on
  • To devote more energy to mindfulness, journal just once sentence every night to reflect on how you felt about the day
  • To stay more on top of tasks, or even to be a more responsive friend, commit to answering texts and emails as soon as they come in
  • To enrich your mind and increase your capacity for empathy, read ten pages of a fiction book ever day
  • To cut down on clutter and keep a cleaner home, wash dishes as soon as you use them and put things away as soon as you're done with them
  • To shake things up and create some memories, take a day or weekend trip to somewhere you've been meaning to see
  • To keep your body strong and adaptable, change up just one part of your exercise routine by trying a new activity
  • To begin a new habit of health, start walking just one extra mile per day
  • To stay happy and engaged with life, do something totally new-- new experiences create happiness
  • To help increase your confidence and self-esteem, write down one thing you like about yourself every day
