It’s no secret that chickpeas are a great source of plant-based protein, and this PeaNOTS Powered Hummus kicks it up a notch further. Plus, the Vegan Ranch PeaNOTS give the hummus a delicious flavor that may just be your new favorite!

If you’ve never made hummus at home, I promise you that once you try it, you’ll wonder why it took you so long. It only takes a handful of ingredients and less than 5 minutes of your time to whip up smooth, flavorful hummus from the comfort of your own home. Plus, how fun is it to make a gorgeous spread out of it with lots of toppings and tell your friends and family that you made it yourself? Low effort, big impact.


Adding the LesserEvil Vegan Ranch PeaNOTS to this hummus recipe not only gives the hummus a delicious flavor, but it adds additional protein, which is such an added bonus!



Topping Talk


Want to take your hummus to the next level? Easy, just turn it into a spread! Grab your favorite serving platter or plate and spread your hummus onto it. Next, layer on the toppings.

 Here are my favorites:

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  •   Flakey Sea Salt
  •   Cracked Black Pepper
  •   Chopped Fresh Dill
  •   LesserEvil’s PeaNOTS (they add the best crunch!)
  •   Roasted Chickpeas
  •   Chopped Cherry Tomatoes
  •   Feta (can be vegan as well!)

Ready to make it yourself?

  •   1 15 oz can chickpeas/garbanzo beans
  •   1/4 cup LesserEvil Vegan Ranch PeaNOTS
  •   1 lemon
  •   ¼ cup tahini
  •   1 small clove garlic (optional, omit if you don’t love garlic!)
  •   3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  •   ¼ tsp salt
  •   4 tbsp water, separated


  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas, then set aside.
  2. Using a food processor or high powered blender, blend lemon juice, tahini, garlic, olive oil, PeaNOTS and salt together until smooth.
  3. Add in half of the drained and rinsed chickpeas along with 2 tbsp of water and blend until smooth.
  4. Add in the rest of the chickpeas and another 2 tbsp of water then continue blending.
  5. Once it has reached your desired consistency, plate the hummus and top with a drizzle of olive oil, extra salt and pepper, crushed PeaNOTS and a pinch of fresh dill on top.
