Where are LesserEvil products made and distributed?

All our products are made at our very own snack factory in Danbury, CT and distributed nationwide in the US. You can also find them in some retailers in Canada, at Ritchies Supermarket in Australia, and in the United Arab Emirates. We hope to expand to more regions soon!

What is the shelf life of a LesserEvil product?

  • Popcorn: 8 months
  • Paleo Puffs, Power Curls and Veggie Sticks: 9 months
  • Mini Cookies: 6 months

Is your facility nut-free?

We work with a bakery partner that produces our cookies in a separate facility. Cookies are packaged in our facility. We clean the line that the cookies are packaged on thoroughly, following strict guidelines to prevent cross contamination.

Are your kernels air or oil popped?

Air popped only!

How do you apply the oil on your popcorn?

We heat it slightly, just until it’s melting point and then we evenly spray our oils (coconut, ghee, avocado) on our freshly popped popcorn.

.What is your organic maltodextrin made from?

Organic Tapioca

What is the health benefit of coconut oil?

Coconut oil is made up of medium-chain fatty acids which support a healthy metabolism. The medium-chain fatty acids are used by the body as energy rather than stored as fat in the body.

What is Yeast extract?

Yeast extract is a protein rich ingredient from bakers yeast, made up of amino acids to help add depth of flavor to food. Our organic yeast extract is not MSG.

Where can I find and purchase LesserEvil products?

Our store locator can help you find a retailer near you that carries us! We are also available online through our website, Amazon, Vitacost and Thrive Market.

How long do orders take to ship?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days. However, fulfillment may take 3-5 days pending on order volume.

How much does shipping cost?

We pass our shipping fees directly from the carrier (UPS, USPS, FedEx). Rates will vary based on location and order quantity. However, we do offer flat rate shipping of $5.99 for all orders over $50.00 or free shipping on orders over $75.00 after any promotions are applied.

Do we offer custom variety packs?

At this moment we do not offer variety packs through our website. However you can order individual bags through Thrive Market.

Do we ship to Canada and internationally?

We only ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states and the District of Columbia, but hope to expand that soon!

I never received my order

Can’t find your package? Please take a look at any notes your carrier may have made in your tracking history (i.e. Left at Front Door). If you're still unable to locate the package, please contact UPS (1-800-742-5877) FedEx (1-800-463-3339) or USPS (1-800-275-8777), depending on who your carrier is. If your shipping address is in an apartment complex or office building, we’d recommend checking in with your neighbors, front desk attendant, property manager, and/or mail room. Often packages will turn up 24-48 hours after being reported missing, so if after 48 hours your package still hasn’t turned up, please reach out to us.

Do you offer returns / exchanges?

Online: At this time, we do not offer returns. We are 100% committed to customer satisfaction and offer refunds and/or replacements on a case by case basis. Please contact us with your information including name, order number, phone number, mailing address, photos of product and packaging and reason for the return within 30 days of receiving your order. In-Store: Any returns or refunds for products purchased from a grocery store or from another location other than our website should be directed to where the product was purchased. Merch: We're a small team that is dedicated to making the best snacks on earth, so sales of all of our merch items are final. This allows us to stay focused on what we do best: snacks!

How can I cancel my order?

If you would like to cancel your order please reach out on our contact page at the bottom of our website with your name and order number within 24 hours and we will have this processed for you.

I can't find one of your products in my local grocery store. How can I get it there?

While we don't have control over what stores carry specific items, our goal is to make our products as easy to find as possible. If you can't find a specific product available locally, we hope you'll help us by filling out this form and giving it to the store manager.

How do we dispose of your packaging?

In 2019, LesserEvil is rolling out NEO packaging, including an additive that accelerates the microbial activity in landfills, converting discarded plastic into biogases and ultimately into a clean, renewable energy source. You can discard this packaging as you would other rubbish and it will then work within the landfills to create a clean, renewable energy.
